Ministries
We have come to realize that when Jesus Christ poured out His Spirit upon the Church at Pentecost, it was to establish a whole new order — the priesthood of all believers! No longer was ministry limited to a few elite leaders at the top. Now we all have a gift to offer to the body for it's edification and growth.
The Body Ministry Principle
The ministies list at the left contains only a few of the many more “recognized” ministries Spirit of God Fellowship has to offer. If you happened to visit our section on Our Leadership, you may have noticed that we have no full time Pastor. Neither do we have a full time teacher. Instead, much leadership has been delegated to home group leaders, and teaching is divided among those who have a recognized gift of teaching. So, right there are two major, foundational “ministires” not even listed in our links at the left.
Our ministries is exceeded only by our anticipation
There are scores of others that could easily be added to those your find at the right. For example, there are many who spend countless hours doing sound…or preparing the dinners for our Seniors Banquets. At Spirit of God Fellowship, you'll find that the number of our ministries is only exceeded by the sense of expectation we have that Jesus Christ is raising up a body, complete and whole, and perfectly capable of doing the works he did.
Be Inspired. Be Expectant
Please take a few minutes to visit a few of the ministries. See if you are not challenged to deepen both your walk and your sense of expectation in your own local Church. And, if you currently find yourself unchallenged or not able to grow in that church, we welcome you to ours. Come and visit…if only to be trained to duplicate what we do in your local church. Know that we have no hidden agenda to be the largest Church in the area, we only desire to be the best expression of His Heart for the world that we can be. Come and be inspired. Be trained. Be expectant.
