House Church

Being a member of a House Church can be a life-changing experience because there may come a time that you need to talk about more personal situation than can be discussed in a larger group setting. Maybe you’ve really been struggling something in your life or possibly you’re facing a situation that you’ve come to realize has become bigger than you are.

That’s why home groups have created. They provide you with an open, honest, friendly forum so that you can grow at your own pace, alongside a small group of concerned believers. And, of course, all council is based strictly on the Word of God.

How Do I Join?

To join, all you have to do is consistently attend our Wednesday evening worship meetings…and of course, to let us know that you want to experience more growth than you’ve been able to get in your walk on your own. There are not forms to fill out, no pledges to make and no rituals to follow. All you’ll encounter is people just like yourself, who want to grow in their faith and move on in the kingdom of God.

As time goes on, you’ll discover that House Church is a place to develop character. You will find that you not only have to be willing to share with someone else about their life, but willing to also share with them about yours. Being vulnerable and submissive to authority is seldom easy, but you’ll find that the more honest, transparent and submissive you are, the faster you will grow; if you’re willing to be honest with God, confessing your sins one to another as the Bible requires, you’ll grow into a freedom you knew was possible.

The basis of our House Churches has actually been around for a long, long time. Its roots can be found in early Judaism when the Lord, Jehovah created the twelve tribes of Israel and named a head for each one to lead the people. As you examine the scriptures, you see that He also appointed twelve judges to discern and judge Israel.

"When Jesus chose His twelve disciples to lean His ways and carry one His work after His ascension, He also chose twelve men to be His disciples. Evidently, what the Lord always knew, psychologists are only beginning to discover for themselves. It turns out that the perfect group size for counseling and teach is twelve people! This is not to say that all of our home groups are strictly limited to 12 people, but it is the guide that we follow."
