A little about us…
In 1972, a small group of Christians began meeting. They were searching for an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, which they had not found in their denominational churches. They discovered that life’s answers and freedom from problems that plagued them could be found in the basic truths of the Bible. Their emptiness was replaced by an excitement within a community of believers seeking the fullness of God in their day-to-day lives. Eventually, they became the Spirit of God Fellowship.
Body Ministry
Here we believe that all of us are called to evangelize and to function in the gifts and ministries of the Holy Spirit. New Testament Christianity is “body ministry” — where we each contribute to the kingdom of God, and no one is a spectator.
Because of our fundamental, evangelical and charismatic belief, our primary emphasis is on community and family. Christianity is more than a label to wear or a place to go on Sunday; it is a way of life — living for Jesus Christ in close fellowship with one another. We strive for a strong family base from which we can live Christ’s command to each of us: “Go into all the world with the Gospel message and make disciples!”
