Post-Election Prophecy

Some of you have no idea what kingdom you’ve been thrust into.
You still think my kingdom is of this world.
It never was – it never will be.
I made the world and one day I will make a new one.
Some of you have sold your peace and hope.
You have me but you don’t have peace.
You have me but you’ve run empty of hope.
You have me,
What more do you need?
So lift up your eyes.
If you see me in all my glory your soul will live.
You should be able to say in this day,
I’m doing better than Obama.
I have more joy than the king.
My soul is feasting on the banquet that the king of kings has prepared for me.
Some of you will go blind with bitterness,
While others will have so much joy they’ll have to share it.
These are lean days – how will you feed your soul?
What will you give your children to eat?
Don’t let it be the bread of bitterness and fear.
Feed them on the mercies and goodness of your God.

My people are angry,
My people are confused,
My people are distressed
because of the circumstances of their lives.
“Why?...” you cry out.
“I have served you;
I have loved you;
I have given you my life.
Why am I treated like one who does not know you?
Why do I suffer loss while others,
who do not know you
cannot contain the blessing?
I pray and You do not answer;
I fast and humble myself,
yet you do not respond”—
are the accusations you hurl at me,
from the ignorance of your pain.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,
as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Is. 55:8-9)
You live in the moment
I live in eternity
and I am always working for the good of those
who love me,
who have been called according to my purpose.
The problem is that we have two different purposes:
yours is blessing here and now;
Mine is that you might be conformed to the likeness of My son.
Your purpose will yield temporary blessing,
Mine will yield eternal blessing.
Just as an earthly father discipline his children
that they might be successful in life,
So I too discipline my children,
that they might be successful in eternity.
You must separate yourselves from all that is worldly,
especially in the areas of your mind.
You have been captured by the spirit of this world
and think like those who do not know me.
Even I learned obedience by what I suffered,
and the servant is not above his master.
“He who has suffered in his body is done with sin”
and “does not live the rest of his earthly life
for evil human desires,
but rather for the will of God.” (1 Peter 4:1-2)
Life on this planet is never going to be the same again
for the eternal battle of the forces of darkness
against the seed of God has intensified. . .
and will continue to do so until the end.
Even the earth knows the lateness of the hour and
groans with the pangs of childbirth,
awaiting the revelation of the sons of God.
Hurricanes, tornados, floods, drought, famine and pestilence,
will increase as earth itself
awaits liberation from its bondage to decay.
Why don’t my people realize the lateness of the hour?
“But we do they cry—we know that the Lord will soon return”.
What good is knowledge without wisdom?
If you truly knew your lives would be different.
You would not spend yourselves in worldly pursuits
but would spend yourselves on the Kingdom
so that when I come,
you would receive a good reward for your labor.
Your goals must change this year:
for those who look for increase in their personal lives,
there will be famine
but for those who sow into the Kingdom of God
there will be great increase and blessing.
It is a time to walk and live by faith;
for too long your lives were no different than the world.
But I tell you,
“Arise, shine, for your light has come
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
See, darkness covers the earth
and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the Lord rises upon you
and his glory appears over you.” (Isaiah 60:1-2)
It is a year to decide
“If the Lord is God, follow him;
but if Baal is God, follow him.”
Your words are meaningless
if there is no corresponding action.
You must change if you are to endure to the end.
This is the year of separation of the wheat and chaff;
will you be blown away by the winds of this world
or will you remain in Me?
Only you can decide.
